The successful candidate for this position will be a 1099 contractor with Music Ministry International and be responsible for the following:

1.Contract Position Title: Airmen Ministry Center Coordinator, hereafter described as AMCC.

2.Minimum Standards of Education, Qualification, Experience: AMCC shall:

2.1. Have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a paid ministry leadership position successfully managing people and resources. This experience must not have more than a one (1) year break in paid ministry experience. Candidates must have a minimum two (2) years’ military experience (ex. Active, Reserve, Guard, Civil Service, dependent).

2.1.1 Possess at minimum a bachelor’s degree in a ministry related field.

2.1.2 Be a spiritually sensitive person who is comfortable working with military personnel, lay leaders, and AMCCs in a pluralistic environment.

2.1.3. Possess relevant experience with current technology and social media (i.e., Facebook, Instagram,
Pinterest, computer/phone/tablet applications, and group texting) in order to leverage these platforms to reach Permanent Party Airmen.

2.1.4. Provide resume that outlines these qualifications.

2.2. Have proven ability to communicate effectively and clearly in spoken and written English.

2.3. Have proven ability to effectively accomplish assigned tasks with minimal supervision.

2.4. Provide a letter of endorsement from current pastor/chaplain/ supervisor regarding qualifications
and ministry experience

2.5 Pass a background check.

3.Program Requirements and
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

3.1. Work Hours and Permanent Party Airman Ministry Center Operational Hours.

3.1.1. The AMCC shall be responsible for the management of the Permanent Party Airmen Ministry Center.
The AMCC shall coordinate a 35 hour per week work schedule with the Permanent Party AMC OIC. The work schedule will flex based on the needs of the programs with priority given to evening and weekend events.

3.1.2. Normal duty hours include but not limited to: Wednesday, Thursday 1700-2100, Friday 1700-2300, Saturday 1200-2300, Sunday 1200-2100.

3.3. The AMC operates a volunteer program consisting of Airmen. The AMCC, under the leadership of the OIC and NCOIC of the AMC, shall coordinate: 3.3.1. Volunteer Dorm Resident Leadership Team, to include: recruitment, applications, interviews, selection, and professional development. 3.3.2. The structure of the volunteer program, ensuring that each Airman has unique roles and responsibilities that develop them as leaders. This includes the maintenance of the volunteer roster. 3.3.3. Recognition and appreciation programs, to include monthly, quarterly, and annual care for the caregiver events for the leadership team. 3.3.4. Standard operating procedure for daily operations of the AMC, to include shift management and role delegation, such as facility security, accountability checks, equipment check outs, etc. 3.3.5. The tracking of metrics and data collection for utilization of the facility, equipment, and events. 3.3.6. Development of a dormitory outreach program, to include leveraging of squadron volunteers in their respective dormitories and workspaces. 3.3.7. Development of Servant-Scholar program which builds community relationships with local faith-based organizations to foster volunteer events led by Airmen, to include a minimum of one (1) event per month. For each event, the AMCC will provide a safety brief and ensure accountabilities for all participants. 3.3.8. Development of leadership curriculum for Dorm Resident Leadership Team.

3.4. Facility Coordination: The AMCC is accountable for security and cleanliness of all facilities utilized in
conjunction with their programs. As facility coordinator the AMCC shall coordinate with the facility manager:

3.4.1 The upkeep and maintenance of the AMC.

3.4.2. Distribution and accountability of the keys to all AMC facilities.

3.4.3. Standard operating procedures for opening, closing, and daily cleaning, to include scheduling students awaiting further instruction for cleaning/upkeep projects.

3.4.4. Room set up configurations and standardizations plan.

3.4.5. The use of bulletin boards, posters, and marketing inside the facility.

3.4.6. Facility requests and calendar management.

3.4.7. Research and procurement of office supplies, cleaning supplies, furniture, etc.

3.4.8. The submission of and tracking of work orders for the facility with the Chapel facility manager.

3.5. Logistical Support – The AMCC shall coordinate:

3.5.1. Logistical support, to include marketing for all briefings and training events in the AMC.

3.5.2. Network with base helping agencies and chapel parishes to grow and maintain Dorm Resident Leadership Team Training Program, to include, but not limited to two events per month.

3.5.3. Regular single Airmen spiritual enrichment events for dorm residents.

3.5.4. The development of a weeklong leadership development retreat for Dorm Residents.

3.5.5. Large scale programs, to include but not limited to Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Super Bowl
events. 

3.5.6 Coordinate and or lead weekly resiliency opportunities for Dorm Residents.

3.6. Additional Administrative Tasks – The AMCC shall:

3.6.1. Provide monthly report to the AMC NCOIC of names and dates of Dorm Resident Leaders that were trained on privileged communication. 3.6.2. Participate in weekly planning meetings with the AMC OIC and NCOIC. 3.6.3. Be responsible for ensuring AMC participants and volunteers are aware of local safety requirements and procedures. 3.6.4. Submit appropriated and non-appropriated fund requests and transportation requests as needed to execute AMC program to the AMC OIC and NCOIC. 3.6.5 Obtain and maintain a government driver’s license within the first 90 days in order to drive cars/vans up to 1.5-ton trucks in performance of duties within this performance work statement.

3.7. General Responsibilities – The AMCC shall:

3.7.1. Maintain a professional working relationship with the chapel staff, congregations, and other personnel to achieve duties as necessary. 3.7.2. Have a positive attitude and good time management skills and be self-motivated. 3.7.3. Preserve any confidential issues seen or heard within the chapel facilities. 3.7.4. Comply with all Air Force computer and information security requirements. 3.7.5. Comply with all Federal requirements and Air Force Instructions. 3.7.6. Not conduct personal business in conjunction with services outlined in this PWS, or in chapel facilities. 3.7.7. Comply with mandatory training required for all AMCCs and maintain current training records in accordance with all AFIs and all applicable AF and DOD instructions.3.7.8. Be able to work and travel independently.

4.Pluralistic Environment: The environment in which this contract is implemented is a religiously pluralistic and sensitive arena of numerous faith group and denominational traditions. The AMCC
accomplishes the terms of the contract in compliance with the mission requirements and standards set forth and defined by the Department of the Air Force and the Air Force Chaplain Corps. Activities and behavior to the contrary are viewed as grounds for contract termination.

5.Background Checks

5.1. A criminal history background check shall be initiated and completed for all AMCCs, AMCC substitutes, and program volunteers working with children under 18 years of age.

5.2. If awarded the contract, the AMCC shall immediately submit a background check application to the Contract Monitor, or designee, in accordance with Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 1402.5,
