The successful candidate for this position will be a 1099 contractor with Music Ministry International and be responsible for the following:

Position and Engagement – Peak Airmen Ministry Center Coordinator

Location:  Building 1348, 694 A St., Travis AFB, CA 94535

Contract Term

1-year base period with 4 additional option years, totaling 5 years. Annual review for option periods; contract to be renewed at each annual review.

Operating Hours and Special Events

  • The Peak open daily from 1730-2100.
  • Normal hours maintained on holidays and MAJCOM goal days.
  • Special events may require extended hours, approximately two hours, quarterly.

Service Performance Standards

  • Supplies maintained by 1st day of month (100% monthly).
  • Non-alcoholic beverages prepared to customer satisfaction (no more than 3 valid complaints/month).
  • Expenditures accounted for per AFI 52-105 (100% monthly).
  • Dining room tables sanitized within 15 minutes of vacancy; restrooms cleaned nightly (no more than 2 valid complaints/month).

Equipment and Supplies Provision

  • Chapel provides computer and necessary supplies.
  • Coordinator must use equipment only for contract performance and return in substantially same condition.
  • Coordinator responsible for safeguarding all equipment and supplies.

Volunteer Management and Training

  • Volunteers must be trained, sign agreements, and adhere to Ministry Plan.
  • Violations result in loss of privileges.
  • Volunteers must maintain professionalism and health standards.

Health and Safety Compliance

  • The Peak must maintain safe and healthful working conditions per OSHA, ANSI, and NFPA standards.
  • More stringent standard applies in case of conflict.

Cash Handling and Payment Restrictions

  • Coordinator shall not accept payment of any kind for services or materials provided in The Peak.

Indemnification

  • Coordinator must maintain professional standards and is responsible for safety and well-being of volunteers.
  • Coordinator is responsible for safeguarding government/chapel equipment and supplies.

Payment Terms

  • Coordinator paid per unit (86 hours) up to 12 units (months) per year.
  • Payment in 12 monthly installments.
  • Coordinator invoices at end of each month, no later than the 5th of the following month.

Audit Rights

  • Chapel Staff member or designee will monitor and inspect coordinator's performance.
  • Coordinator will be notified in writing of noncompliance and given opportunity to correct and respond within 5 business days.

Replacement of Coordinator

  • Coordinator responsible for continuous performance; replacements only for short-term absences.
  • Subcoordinator candidates must meet qualifications and be approved by chaplain or Deputy Wing Chaplain.
  • Government reserves right to refuse any candidate.
  • Replacements must be submitted and approved at least two weeks in advance.

Confidentiality and Data Ownership

  • United States Air Force owns all data and records produced under the contract.
  • USAF has unlimited rights to use, dispose of, or disclose such data.
